Church Militant

As you all know I am a huge defender of the faith, as Catholics we all should be! That means I am always on the lookout for others who share that same passion and commitment. My dad is the one who shared with me the group Church Militant. From that moment I have been following them, their stories and I am amazed at the level of dedication and faith they have for their faith.

There is no doubting that the number of people who are “strict” with their faith are dwindling. On a side note the word strict has been given a negative connotation, mostly by those who are in the study of psychology. I know this because I majored in Child Psychology and let me say that is a huge reason I changed to Theology. Being strict is defined as demanding that rules concerning behavior are obeyed and observed. Not only are “specialists” saying that it can cause bad behavior in children but it has also trickled down into churches. People not kneeling during the transubstantiation, chewing gum during Mass, Mass looking more like a soundstage for music, and the list goes on!

Being strict is as basic as tying your shoes. It means behaving the way that God wants you to, doing the right thing and being a good person. Acceptance of our behaviors and the consequences they entail help us to become closer to God.

With that being said, often times Catholics, such as Church Militant and others who stick up for the church can be seen as strict. The word that comes to mind when people speak about the more liberal Catholics, is they seem to have more compassion. They accept homosexuals because they are who God “made” them, they say that marriage should be between anyone, women who are in a tough position can get an abortion, who are we to judge? Again, just like strict was given a negative connotation, compassion has been given a distorted one.

We can’t blur the lines between good and evil because times are changing and we’re getting more modern. That’s like you looking directly in Jesus’ face and saying that you are going to mold His teachings so that others who are living in sin can feel more comfortable. Hey, we’re a changing and more modern church Jesus, you should understand!

That is so wrong and beyond blasphemous. What is more compassionate? Expressing to someone that the life they are leading will lead them to hell, or accepting the behavior and even condoning it.

If you have free time, go out and check out their site! Not only do they have well written articles but they also have different shows that are very informative. Battle Ready

There is no doubt in my mind that looking at the state of the world we are currently in, the end is closer then we think. The sanctity of marriage is being torn down, families are broken, people are living in debauchery and God is being replaced. These are just a few of the ways that we are drifting farther from God and closer to final judgment. A group that is helping us to prepare for this coming event is called Battle Ready.

This group is truly amazing and awe inspiring because of the stance that they take. This is something that I have felt for a while now but it is very touching when you find a group of like minded Catholics who share the same views as you do and embrace the true Catholic faith. As opposed to the way many Catholics feel the faith should be based on their own beliefs according to the world. We are supposed to have the world conform to Jesus Christ’s teachings, not the other way around. Just because it is the popular thing does not mean that it is the right thing.

That is the line that Battle Ready makes very clear, there is a distinction between good and evil. You have to take the faith and our beliefs very seriously and use the sacraments of confession and Communion to help prepare ourselves fully for the spiritual battle.

In today’s society we have become so far removed from God even though we may not fully realize it. When we check our phones every five minutes, always update our social media accounts and worry about who liked what Instagram photo, then we have removed God from our society. With our lives so full of these material goods, where does God fit in? Sure we go to Mass every Sunday, maybe even weekday, before dinner we pray and at night time we say a quick prayer. Where does God fit in? Being busy doing something productive and using your gifts that God has given you is different than being busy with meaningless tasks.

Many also seem to think the idea that there is another spiritual realm besides God and Heaven to be quite archaic. I have heard of priests quickly denying the reality of hell and the realness of the devil. To do so would be a grave mistake and would signify that Jesus’ sacrifice was pointless.  If there is no devil, then why is sin so bad? If there is no fear of hell, then what is stopping us from doing what we want? The funny thing is, the devil is actually happy that many people don’t want to believe in him. All the easier it is to gain souls for eternal damnation.

The truth is, I think people have come to think of themselves as God. A lot of people are quick to call themselves spiritual, quickly releasing them from any obligations of being Christian. Others say that religion is so oppressive that it is outdated, and has no place in today’s society. Some Christian Churches are oppressive because they have twisted the Catholic faith to best fit their own viewpoints, much of how today’s society is. The Catholic Faith however is far from oppressive, that is if you are willing to let go of your selfish desires to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ Himself. To say that Catholicism is wrong, you are then saying that Jesus is wrong and clearly you have no idea the weight of your words.

We live in a society where people are quick to say we should not judge those who are different and quickly condemn those who stick by their faith. They are good at picking out the pieces of Jesus’ words that fit their kumbaya philosophy of thinking. What they so quickly forget is that when Jesus comes back, it is the final judgment and you will be judged for your lack of faith and your lack of direction when Jesus so clearly mapped it out for you. We are not in the world to live as the world, we are in the world to bring souls to Jesus. When we condone what clearly goes against our faith, the faith that Jesus gave us, we are siding with the devil. This is a heavy topic and one that some may find scary or even offensive. Quite frankly, it should scare you because I wouldn’t want to disappoint Jesus and neither should you.

The end times are coming at a fast rate and we had better be prepared for when it comes. This doesn’t mean ringing a bell, holding a sign saying that the end is near. This means using the Sacraments that God has given us, defending His Word and sticking by Jesus Christ.

Battle Ready is an amazing site with tons of useful information regarding both spiritual and physical means of preparing for the end times. It is something that all practicing Catholics should look at and all Christians should read it so that they can turn their lives truly to Jesus by converting to Catholicism. I highly recommend that you use this website to prepare and to stay updated with. God Bless and stay strong!

Here is the link to the website and I will post one on the main page:

Dear Jesus,

I am sorry for those who slander your name,

I am sorry for those who are too scared to stand by your side,

I am sorry for those who sway their beliefs to fit this changing world

I am sorry.

I love you more than words can express and hearts can feel.

You are my eternal redemption and my way of life.

I want to be a warrior for you and fight in this battle.

I will call your name on high and stand my faith even if it means death.

Please give me the strength to do so, you are my glory.

One Million Moms

I am sure everyone has heard of the Christian based group One Million Moms. If you are a fan of the mainstream media then you probably have an idea formed about what this group is about. The way the “media” talks they are akin to the KKK or some other hate group. This couldn’t be farther from the truth and quite frankly I am tired of the double standards.

PETA, HRC, LGBTQ groups, NRDC and other environmental groups, Freedom From religion and other atheist run organizations are all similar to One Million Moms. How so? Their groups fight for their targeted interests. But they are quite different as well. How so? They get praise, while One Million Moms gets tons of hate. The key to why is quite simple, they stand for what is seen as “traditional” Christian values.  This in my book translates to people following the teachings that Jesus Christ Himself set forth. Not bending to what the current society deems to be acceptable behavior and beliefs.

I am Catholic and quite proud of my faith. Catholicism is the first and true Christian faith NB1that was created by Jesus Christ at the Last Supper. That doesn’t stop my fellow Catholics from tarnishing the teachings that were handed down from Christ – like the group Catholics for Choice. They support and encourage birth control, abortions and going after whatever they want sexually. In essence it is quite parallel to One Million Moms in that one gets praise for standing with the times while the other gets railroaded for standing by Jesus Christ.

One Million Moms take a stand against the things that are so wrong with today’s society. We live in a time where it is commonplace to see sex on TV but if you mention your faith in Jesus you are quickly labeled as being filled with hate speech. When did we become so broken? When did we lose our way? Because that is what we as a country and a world have done.

Without God, we are nothing but wisps of dust in the wind. Floating along until we find a place to stick, where we don’t really want to be but our own choices led us there. By the time that little piece of dust realizes it went wrong, it’ll be too late and it will be washed away into an endless stream – living with the total regret of denouncing its journey and guilty-newsboyscreator.

WE are that little piece of dust and if you continue to take God out of everything you will be in a lake of endless fire. Anxiety, depression, OCD, mental illness in general has been making a dramatic increase in society. You can’t tell me that removing God from our society and this sudden increase has nothing to do with it. As Saint Augustine said so eloquently, all souls are restless until they rest in God. You can’t rest in God if you want to continually take Him out of everything.

That is where our Christian duty comes in because we owe it to Christ our savior to defend and honor His name. It is quickly becoming taboo to mention anything about God or Jesus but you won’t see me hesitating. I would rather be jailed for defending Jesus then to face Him when I die and try to explain to Him why I did not defend Him. When I look at the Crucifix I am reminded every day of my mission and my strength.

Dear God,

Please give me the courage to raise my voice.

Those who are trying to silence my will not win,

I will continue to proclaim Your word and Honor.

I pray for the conversion of their souls,

That my words may be guided by and for you Jesus Christ.

Pray Them Out

The Rosary is a powerful tool given to us by the Blessed Mother through the Holy Spirit. It was first given to Saint Dominic in a vision from the Blessed Mother. From then on he used it when he would preach and spread the message of Jesus Christ. Although the Rosary’s beginnings are not exactly known because back before Saint Dominic’s time there were other forms of prayer beads that fellow monks and priests would use to keep track of their prayers. However, after his visions from the Blessed Mother he was able to add on to the original idea.

The Releasers are a group dedicated with using prayer to help those souls in purgatory and the Rosary is something that can do just that. As you pray the rosary, remember to pray for all those souls in purgatory who yearn for prayers from their fellow Catholics. This is their mission, which is something that is commendable and something that needs to be done.

Purgatory is stated as being “purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven” by the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This is for those souls who are still considered to have worthy souls but still are not perfect. As soon as we die, we are given a judgment by Jesus Christ. At the moment of death we are either given a reward of Heaven, a punishment of hell or a reward to get yourself prepared for Heaven, which is Purgatory.

When we think about it in these terms, yet again Jesus’ mercy is being reached out to us. Did you love your car a little bit too much? Did you neglect saying your prayers as faithfully as you should have? These little things which could keep us out of Heaven won’t because we have the opportunity to make ourselves pure again to reach Heaven where our Lord and Savior is.

The Power of the Rosary is the home website where the Releasers are located. Along with this, there are many other informative and powerful movements. You can become a best friend of the Holy Spirit, look at Scriptural Meditations, Miracles and many other wonderful things. I will provide a link to their website and will also keep a link on our blog. They are truly a powerful movement and I recommend them to everyone who reads this blog.

My overall rating of this website: This is a great website that provides information for Catholics and different Catholic devotions. They promote saving souls and should be a top website for Catholics.

Adult Coloring Books

I am sure everyone has at one point heard of a new craze that has taken hold known as Adult Coloring Books. The point of these books is to allow the individual who is coloring to escape reality for as long as the need in order to de-stress. Sounds good? In my opinion, it is far from good.

It piqued my curiosity when I noticed in the store a huge shelf dedicated to this massively popular item. I picked up one to glance at it and see what the rave was all about. When I opened it I noticed that the book was filled with Mandela’s to color. Not knowing completely what they were but having a slight idea, I looked them up.

Mandela’s are from the Sanskrit meaning of circles. That is the basis of what a Mandela is, it is circular with different points. The purpose of it is to balance the individual who is using it; it is used to help a “spiritual” journey through use of the cosmic and psychic elements. In essence, it works a tool for hypnosis so that the individual can go further into their self to form a thought that they ponder on.

There were also Celtic Mandela’s. These are basically the same as the Indian version; they are just a bit different because of the culture. They have one that is labeled the Triquetra which is the same symbol of the Holy Trinity. However, it is very misused and is more commonly misused by pagans and wiccans. They say that by starting at this Mandela with the Trinity, it will have you become more in tuned with the great spiritual power.

What this sums up to, is the majority of adult coloring books use Mandela’s as their source of allowing the users to de-stress. This is done through means of the devil; I have no doubt about that. Each of these represents us becoming more in tune with ourselves, becoming centered in our own being. THAT IS EVIL! It is using means of sources that come from satan himself, such as witchcraft, hypnosis and pagan beliefs.

When developing a relationship with God we have to learn to become more selfless. We have to learn how to rely on God to be our guide through life while using the gifts that He has given us. If you want to de-stress, pray! Write a letter to God or Jesus, draw your own picture! Don’t rely on what the nonbelievers or lukewarm believers give you. These adult coloring books are another way for people to get closer to completely abandoning God. If we become more self-involved and rely on coloring books to de-stress our lives, then we are completely abandoning our faith in God.

My overall rating of this item is: it is secular and should stay that way. Christians should avoid this item and spread the message.

Dolls From Heaven

Dolls from Heaven

We live in a world where the idea of evangelization and spreading the message is something that is not too well known. Dolls from Heaven is a unique venture into helping to spread the message of Christ throughout the world as well as aiming at young children to become more saint like. This is something that is definitely needed to help promote a deeper faith among our youth of today, which in turn could have a lasting impression on adults.

This idea stemmed from one of Catholicism’s highly acclaimed saints, Therese, also knowns as the “little” flower. She was born in France, to two loving parents who in total had nine children. Over her lifetime though she would come to experience great tragedy starting with the death of her mother from breast cancer. Then her father suffered a stroke during her entrance into the Carmelite community at the young age of 15. She then spent the short years of her life devoted to the Lord through prayers and devout love for others. Instead of focusing solely on self she gave her love to others and made sacrifices without others at the time knowing. Her story is one that we can use in our daily lives by remembering that love for Christ and spreading that love is the thing that can settle our fears and doubts. It is also something that will positively affect the world if enough people adopt that way of thinking.

Now that you know a little background on the very special Saint Therese, I will talk about a very interesting concept that the Kiczek family has started. They wish to inspire children to be more like the saints and focus on Jesus. Which is what brought about the concept of Dolls From Heaven, to do just that. After discussing the fact that there are really no doll companies that promote children to faith or to develop a closer relationship with God.

18 Inch Saint Therese Doll!

Sunday Best!

Their first doll is that of Saint Therese, which they stated is “one of their favorite saints”. You can order a special book to go along with your child’s doll called I am Therese, which is based on her journey to sainthood. Another awesome object that you can order to go with your doll is Thereses’ Sunday best; which includes an outfit for your new little Therese doll to dress in for Church.

Take a look at the dolls because they are beautifully done. Pass it along to your friends, family, coworkers as well as religious education teachers, Priests and religious entities. This is something that needs to be talked about and supported!
